Hey, I'm Katie. As a busy working mum, I know all too well how easy it is to lose yourself in the daily hustle of life, to put everything & everyone else first, and forget to make space for yourself too.

I discovered silversmithing a few years ago when I realised I had lost myself in the chaos of full-time work and motherhood.

I am obsessed with blues and everything that comes with them. The ocean, sunny blue skies, the warmth of summer, that slow, unhurried feeling of a day with nowhere to be. It's a calm feeling as much as a colour, and that's exactly the feeling I want every Polished Soul piece to carry.

Creating jewellery with my own two hands has become the therapy I never knew I needed. It allows me to slow down, tune out from the stress and noise of life, and simply focus on the creative process right in front of me. I like to think I pour that calm energy into every piece I make, and so each piece I create becomes a gentle reminder to slow down, be present, and reconnect to yourself.
