About Polished Soul

I am obsessed with the colour blue and completely drawn to the calming presence of the Ocean. This calm is such a contrast to the whirlwind that our busy lives can be.

Many of my pieces incorporate elements of blues, greens and textured silver representing the calming flow and energy of the water.

As we go about our busy lives, our time is often spent focusing on others, especially if we are Mums. As life gets busier, it is easy for us to put aside doing the things we love and neglect our self-care. Over time, the more energy we throw into our commitments, the easier it is to lose sight of who we are and what is truly meaningful to us. It's not until we get older that we question who we are and what we want out of life.

Our families, our jobs, our commitments are a big and important part of our lives. Equally important is taking time out to care for ourselves, doing things that make us feel happy, and ensuring we are also living life for ourselves (and not just for those we love and work for).
